Brian Tatro has been associated with the Bridgewater Housing Authority since 1987 when he was elected as a Commissioner. In 2001, Tatro was hired as Executive Director and has been running the daily operations of the Bridgewater Housing Authority since that time.

Tatro has been certified by the National Association of housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) as a Public Housing Manager and is also a certified Massachusetts Public Housing Administrator by the Massachusetts chapter of NAHRO
